Man Tried To Sell Cocaine To Uniformed Deputy
Friday, February 3rd, 2006
Police in Orlando, Florida, allege that a dimwit tried to sell cocaine to an Orange County Sheriff's deputy (who was in full uniform, in his marked patrol car) on February 3rd.
That dimwit was Michael Garibay, who approached the car of Deputy Ed Johnson at a gas station and asked Deputy Johnson if he was, to quote the dimwit, "straight."
When Johnson said he was, Garibay was quoted as saying, "Do you know what that means? ... It means do you want to buy some cocaine."
When the deputy answered affirmatively, the dimwit showed him a plastic bag with what looked like flat white rocks and asked for cash.
A local newspaper reported that the deputy confiscated the bag and arrested the dimwit after the stuff inside the bag tested positive for nose candy.
Garibay was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of cocaine possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and marijuana possession with intent to sell.
